What are some good manners that we as adults can have with each other? As adults, we can get lazy in our manners and this has a affect on others around us whether at home or in the workplace. Hint: Put your phone down when you’re in a meeting or someone else is talking.

Nancy has done a 6 part video series called, “Manners in the Workplace,” which you will see below.

In Nancy’s first video, she talks about listening longer and without comment. It is based off of her book, Manners and Me: An Easy Peasy Guide for Kids and the Grown-Ups Who Love Them. We hope you will find it useful not only in your professional relationships, but your personal ones as well.

In her second video in her "Manners in the Workplace" series, she talks about receiving feedback. Not only is it a good leadership skill, but it's also good manners.

Nancy’s third video in her "Manners in the Workplace" series is about saying THANK YOU. Those two words can really build people up and can help foster strong relationships.

In her 4th video, she talks about blaming others and how that stifles our creativity and connectedness with others at work. It is in our nature, as humans, to blame. Try doing what she suggests in the video and see what happens.

In this video, Nancy talks about time. Many of us go through life rushing around and thinking we don't have enough time, but we actually do.

In Nancy’s 6th and final video in this series, she talks about having love in the workplace; not romantic love, but truly caring for others and showing kindness even in tough situations. Love really does make a difference!
